Source and review standards

How Thrive & Rise reviews global support sources.

Global mental-health signposting needs to be useful, cautious and easy to verify. This page explains how country pages are researched, labelled and maintained.

Safety comes first

Thrive & Rise is not an emergency service, crisis line, clinical provider, diagnosis tool or replacement for professional care. If someone may be in immediate danger, use local emergency services first.

What we prioritise

  • Official emergency routes: emergency numbers and urgent-care guidance for the country.
  • Recognised support services: public-health services, registered charities, national helplines and helpline networks.
  • Source visibility: pages show source links so visitors can check details before sharing.
  • Review dates: country pages show when the information was last checked.

How we write cautiously

  • We avoid claiming a service is available everywhere unless the source clearly says so.
  • We use wording such as availability may vary when hours, coverage or language support may change.
  • We separate emergency help from non-emergency emotional support.
  • We keep translated phrases labelled as a simple aid, not professional medical translation.

Review checklist

Check emergency numbers against official or public-health guidance.
Check helpline names, contact options and public web pages.
Prefer source links people can open without logging in.
Mark uncertain coverage clearly instead of overpromising.
Update the reviewed date after source checks.
Regenerate sitemap, llms.txt and support-catalog.json after changes.

Help improve global coverage

If a country is missing or a support detail looks outdated, request a country or contact Thrive & Rise so the page can be checked.
